Japanese Hair Straightening

The system of the hair treatment, which is organized in Japan for straightening, consumes heat, different types of chemicals, compounds and flattening to re-grain wavy and curly, frizzy hair ties. The result is permanent straight hair. Therefore, it is also known as Thermal Reconditioning. This system can be applied on every type of hair.

Different salons all over the world are using different kinds of hair straightening systems, but in Japan, most experts are using Yuko system. This system relates to the Japanese culture, because most girls have straight hair and some of them who have curly ones are annoyed and concerned, because they do not look like one of the lot.

Due to this reason, straightening was introduced by putting product solution and applying pressure on hair. This pressure used to damage hair and often ruined the quality of the hair.  So, a new thinking was to straighten the hair by iron not by pressure. This system used to control both moisture and temperature. It is very important to control the temperature of iron, which is dependent on the moisture level of hair. The main cause of unruly hair is friction, which prevents hair from falling back into place.

This whole procedure of straightening may take between 3 to 6 hours; the time may also vary with the length and the type of hair. The process starts with assessing the type and form of the hair. After this assessment, hair is shampooed and dried. The hair is then divided into parts, conditioning procedure applied and a protector is put into the divided parts. Then, there is a wait of 15 to 20 minutes to set; the time may vary with the quality of hair as well.

Later, when the chemicals and substances have set, a flat professional iron is used to straighten and flatten the hair in a few steps. Hair is then separated into sections again and a neutralizer is applied. This neutralizer rearranges the bonds and makes the hair stable. After this, there is a wait of about 10 to 20 minutes, which is again dependent upon the hair texture and its quality. This is a time-consuming process; therefore, it takes several hours to complete.

To achieve the best results, it is important to use the right products, suitable for the specific hair type. It is important to decide which products to use and then decide upon their techniques for each individual. The permanent straightness of the hair depends on the hair straightening system that was used. Fallouts are perpetual in case of hair that has been treated, but after the first treatment, the costumer may want to have a new treatment on the hair every 6 or 10 months.

The beautiful look of hair does not only need ironing system by the hair straightening experts, it needs the right product as well that can keep it straight. Daily care of hair is also important after the treatment of hair straightening. It can determine for how long the hair would stay straight.

There are many varieties of shampoos and different kind of products available for treating problematic hair. After the treatment, you should be aware of the type of shampoos and products you have to use for your hair. The right choice of these products would give you good quality for longer.
